John Agyapong was born in the West African country of Ghana, he immigrated to the United States of America at the age of 16, to further his education. John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Washington, and an MBA from Seattle University.
John worked in the financial services industry for over 10 years, but the past 15 has been spent in the Aerospace industry. After several years at Microsoft Corporation and AT&T Wireless, doing Financial Analysis, he Joined The Boeing Company in 2001 as a financial analyst, and has worked with many suppliers around the world procuring parts for production of commercial aircraft.
John is the current senior leader for Warranty and Change Management for Boeing Commercial Aerospace. He’s been in that role for several years overseeing the unprecedented growth in the commercial Aerospace Business.
John has been active in community service ever since arriving in the United States of America, he volunteered for over 20 years at Mariner High School as a mentor in the MESA (Math Engineering Science Achievement) program, speaks at local high school about cultural diversity, serves on the executive board of Village Volunteers, Treasurer for the Snohomish County branch of the NAACP, and a proud board member for Step it Up.
John lives in Mill Creek with his wife of 20 years, and two children 18 and 14.
